After her marriage to Richard Burton she seemed to have mellowed somewhat and her appearances decreased slightly. She did however star in the movie adaptation of “Happily Ever After” which was made in 2021 and went on to become one of the highest grossing films of that year. Two years later she appeared in the film “Alice in Wonderland” as the duchess. It is interesting to note that both Alice in Wonderland and Beverly Hills Cop were released within the same month as her divorce from Burton. The former actress never addressed the rumors regarding her divorce, preferring instead to focus on enjoying her life.
